This year the CMA’s Charities Committee has selected a wide range of products for our runners to choose from, and the best part is, you are supporting the 6 worthwhile charities that form part of the Official Comrades Amabeadibeadi charity platform.

These charitable organisations do amazing work and epitomise the spirit of giving and the intrinsic spirit of community that lies at the heart of the Comrades Marathon.

All proceeds of the product sales from the Amabeadibeadi range go directly to the charity you purchase them from. That’s right!

If you purchase an Amabeadibeadi product, you are giving a full donation to your charity of choice.

At this year’s Durban and Pietermaritzburg registration points, we will have our traditional Amabeadibeadi necklaces for sale, as well as beanies and bandanas to keep you warm on your winter runs.

A limited range of beaded items will also be on sale as well as buddy bottle coolers to keep your bottle nice and cool.

Comrades Beanie: R 60-00

Bottle Cooler: R 60-00

Bandanas: R 20-00

Beaded items: R 25-00

Amabeadibeadi necklace: R 20-00

Inviting all Comrades runners to use our Supporters Spot en-route!!

Are you running Comrades??

Are you worried you might not meet up with your official Seconds en-route??

Use the World Vision Supporters Spot, a guaranteed meeting point for the things you just can’t do without half way into your run!!!

World Vision is one of the official Charities to the Comrades Marathon and would like to give back to those participating in the event and to those raising funds for us.

So, if you are running for World Vision SA Charity – we will look after your essentials for you on the race day!

Come deliver your goodies to our stand during the expo, with your race number and details and then find us en-route on race day, outside the Ethembeni School.

We are the Angels after the halfway Mark about 37km before PMB – to refresh and rejuvenate yourself.

The offer is also open to all other runners too, who are not part of the Charity – a small donation of R100 towards World Vision SA is payable for the service.

Pictured above is the Community Chest team at their 2018 Comrades Marathon refreshment station.

This year the team of approximately 80 volunteers anticipate runners at the last water point before the finish – point 43 on Fairfield Avenue.

The Community Chest Team will be there to inspire runners to complete the last few kilometres of their race. This station promises to provide runners with a boost to the finish as energised volunteers and great music create a festive atmosphere.
