CMA ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIRPERSON AND VICE CHAIRPERSON
The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mqondisi Ngcobo as the new Chairperson and Mark Leathers as the new Vice Chairperson of the Board, effective immediately.
Ngcobo brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the sport. As Chairperson, he will lead the Board in its mission to promote and enhance the Comrades Marathon, ensuring its continued success and growth.
The newly appointed Vice Chairperson, Leathers also brings a vast amount of expertise and commitment to the road-running community and will be invaluable in supporting the Chairperson and the Board.
The Comrades Marathon, accepted globally as the world’s oldest and most famous ultramarathon and endorsed by the Guinness World Records as the biggest ultramarathon, continues to inspire runners from around the world.
With the new leadership in place, the CMA is excited about the future and looks forward to many more successful events.
