COMRADES ROADSHOW IN THE WESTERN CAPE

The Comrades Marathon annual roadshow makes its way to the Western Cape this Wednesday, to be hosted by Varsity Old Boys (VOB) Running Club.
With Comrades training in full swing, the Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) has planned its roadshows in strategic locations across the country, in a bid to motivate and empower its 20,000 entrants to be adequately prepared for The Ultimate Human Race on Sunday, 11 June 2023.
The Comrades roadshows are being hosted by respective running clubs in the Western Cape and Gauteng over the next two weeks. Comrades Coach, Lindsey Parry has urged runners to attend the interactive session where he will share up-to-date advice and tips on training, nutrition, injury prevention and tapering among other relevant topics.

The roadshows will also be backed up by a series of Comrades webinars, for those runners who prefer to access the much-needed information from the comfort of their homes.
The 96th Comrades Marathon will start in the inland City of Pietermaritzburg at 5h30 and finish 12 hours later in the coastal City of Durban on Sunday, 11 June 2023. This will be the 48th Down Run.
