COMRADES ROADSHOWS
Tackling the world’s oldest and biggest ultramarathon demands proper training, the right advice, motivation, courage and determination. To this end, the Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) is hosting a series of educational, motivational and inspirational seminars and workshops to help you make it to the Comrades Start and across the Finish Line.
The Comrades roadshow is aimed at helping Comrades Marathon novice and veteran athletes prepare, both physical and mentally, to ensure a successful Comrades journey.
Comrades Coach, Lindsey Parry will share top tips and advice, garnered from years of experience in running the race and getting athletes race-ready.
Entry is free and bookings are not necessary. You get to meet the Comrades Coach and other experts and motivational speakers who are part of these seminars and workshops.
The Comrades roadshows are being hosted by respective running clubs in KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and Gauteng over the coming weeks. As the roadshow team makes its way to Durban, the Comrades Coach has urged runners to attend the session and be part of that group of athletes who will receive first-hand advice on training, nutrition, injury prevention and tapering among other relevant topics.
For more running advice and to chat to the Coach, get to the Stella Athletic Club at 17 Helen Joseph Road, Glenwood in Durban by 19h00 this evening.
Details of the roadshows and webinars are available on the Comrades Marathon website at www.comrades.com as well as on the Comrades Marathon App.
