CMA’S NEWLY APPOINTED SUB-COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS

The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) has announced the list of newly appointed chairpersons of its sub-committees, some of which have been merged. These sub-committees are designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the CMA's operations and ensure the smooth running of the Comrades Marathon.

The sub-committees will focus on various aspects such as race organization, marketing, communications, membership, sponsorships, finance, legal and constitutional, corporate governance, heritage and traditions, among others. Committees which have been merged are the Marketing and Membership committees as well as the Legal & Constitutional and Corporate Governance committees.

This initiative aims to streamline processes and foster collaboration among different stakeholders involved in the world’s biggest, oldest and most famous ultramarathon.

In order to facilitate member contact with the relevant committees where required, attached hereto is a list of the committees, as they will now be structured, along with the details of the respective chairpersons thereof.
