COMRADES MARATHON NOVICE SEMINARS FOR FIRST-TIME RUNNERS
The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) is pleased to announce a series of Novice Seminars specifically designed to support first-time participants of the 98th Comrades Marathon. These seminars aim to provide invaluable insights, guidance, and encouragement to ensure a successful and enjoyable race experience for novice runners.
The seminars will feature the Comrades Coach, dietitian and other professionals who will share their knowledge on various aspects of the race. Topics will include training tips, race day strategies, injury prevention, and mental preparation.
Novice runners will receive comprehensive information on what to expect on race day, including logistics, hydration, nutrition, and pacing. This preparation will help alleviate any pre-race anxieties and ensure participants are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.
The seminars will include interactive question-and-answer sessions, allowing novices to seek personalized advice and address any concerns they may have. This direct engagement with experts and experienced runners will provide valuable support and encouragement.
