COMRADES WOMEN'S BOOT CAMPS
Following a successful Comrades Women’s Boot Camp in the Mother City, the Comrades Marathon Association will host two more – one in Johannesburg, and another in Durban later this month.
These boot camps are a key component of the CMA’s Runners First initiative, designed to provide personalised fitness advice, motivation, and inspiration to female participants, ensuring they are in peak condition for race day.
Participants will benefit from the expertise of our dedicated team, including:
- Masibulele Mkhundlu (FitMasi): Boot camp instructor
- Shona Hendricks: Comrades Coach strength and conditioning specialist
- Nikki De Villiers: Comrades Coach dietitian
In line with the CMA’s campaign to highlight Comrades’ Local Legends, the boot camps will feature motivational talks, including tips for a great Comrades run, by former Comrades Marathon winners and Green Number greats, offering invaluable insights and inspiration.
The Boot Camps will be hosted as follows:
- Johannesburg Boot Camp: Southern Sun Sandton - Saturday, 22 March 2025 at 08h00
- Durban Boot Camp: Southern Sun Maharani Hotel - Saturday, 29 March 2025 at 08h00
Each attendee will receive a goodie bag, a delicious breakfast, and the opportunity for one-on-one interactions with our panel of road-running professionals. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and towel.
