#COMRADES2025 RUNNING CLUB HOSPITALITY BOOKINGS

The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) is delighted to announce that running club hospitality bookings for the 2025 Comrades Marathon will soon be open. This exciting opportunity allows running clubs to secure exclusive hospitality packages and enhance their race day experience on Sunday, 8 June 2025.

CMA General Manager, Alain Dalais says, “The running club hospitality packages will be on a first come first serve basis and are usually snapped up fairly quickly, so we urge our running clubs to be proactive and confirm their bookings as soon as possible.”

This year, the running club hospitality areas will be strategically located at the Comrades finish venue in People’s Park and also on the finish straight on Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, providing an excellent vantage point for cheering on runners and celebrating their achievements.

The Comrades hospitality packages aim to offer a comfortable and convenient space for running club members to relax, enjoy refreshments, and socialize after the race. This includes access to seating, shade, and dedicated facilities.

Running clubs can choose from a variety of catering options to suit their preferences, ensuring that runners have access to delicious snacks and drinks throughout the day, including the option of arranging their own food and beverages, if they so desire.

Dalais adds, "Our running club hospitality packages are designed to enhance the race day experience for running clubs, allowing them to support their members and celebrate their accomplishments in comfort and style."

Running clubs interested in booking hospitality packages are encouraged to act quickly, as spaces are limited and expected to fill up fast. Bookings will open on 14 March 2025 and close on 16 May 2025, or as soon as all club tent sites are sold out.

The 98th Comrades Marathon will be a Down Run on Sunday, 8 June 2025, starting at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall and ending 12 hours later at Durban’s People’s Park. This will be the 49th Comrades Down Run.
