CMA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Do you want to be more involved in the Comrades Marathon? Would you like the opportunity to contribute toward the future of the race? Are you keen to make a difference in the world’s greatest ultramarathon?
If so, you are invited to join as a member of the Comrades Marathon Association (CMA). The CMA is a group of passionate individuals who share a common vision and commitment to The Ultimate Human Race.
As a member of the CMA, you will receive:

- Networking opportunities with other professionals and experts
- Accolades for outstanding contributions
- A sense of belonging and purpose
In addition, you will be able to attend the CMA Annual General Meeting at which you can review the Association’s annual performance, make proposals concerning the future of the race, vote on the appointment of future Board Members and provide feedback to the sitting CMA Board.
To join or renew your CMA membership:
- You are required to complete the membership application form (downloadable on our website)
- Provide us with a copy of your Identity Document
- Pay the R100 membership fee: This fee can be paid via EFT or cash at Comrades House

NB: To be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting in 2024, you will need to renew your membership by no later than 30 June 2024. Membership may still be renewed after 30 June 2024; however, you will not be eligible to vote at the 2024 Annual General Meeting
